A Great New Book - Check it out!
Don't Ask Stupid Questions, by Tim
Brownson is just out. This insightful little primer
is a great source of inspiration and information to help
keep you on track and living your life more fully.  The
thing that I especially like about it is that it is a
collection of short articles (2 or 3 pages each) that you
can read when you have an hour or when your busy life only
gives you a few minutes.
As delightful and humorous as it is
helpful, this book is an enjoyable read, and the key
concepts in it will help you lead a more empowered,
enthusiastic and vibrant life.
This is no "fluff" ... these are
ideas that will change your life ... AND .. it
makes a great gift at Christmas or anytime of year.

every month in Orlando
On the first Monday of each month,
beginning at 7PM. There is a public event at Phoenix Services. These events give us the opportunity to
gather with friends, exchange ideas, review
various topics about personal growth and evolution and to
introduce new material as well.
Our

meaning
and the ecology of delusion

Facilitated by Michael Watson
The experience of life is unique to each one of us … and
no two people perceive the same world in the same way. This
accounts for the fact that some of us find the world to be a
friendly, welcoming place, filled with limitless possibilities
and great adventures while others see a hostile universe,
fraught with struggle and no hope for improvement. Or
somewhere in between.
How we approach life is directly related to how we
understand the world … and how we fare in life is the result
of that approach. This could be good news or bad news
... depending on what you do with it.
In this evening program we will discuss how our beliefs,
fantasies, fears, hopes and misconceptions color the world we
see. And how each of us create and maintain our own private
"realities". We'll also demonstrate how you can use
these principles to make your world richer and more meaningful
beginning right NOW.
The evening is hosted and facilitated by Michael Watson. The
director of Phoenix Services, Michael is a certified trainer
of Hypnotherapy and Neurolinguistics. He is the Educator
of the Year for the International Association of Counselors
and Therapists. Michael offers training in the US and the
UK and maintains a limited private practice in Orlando.
As usual with our Monday programs you can expect a lively and
engaging discussion with illustrations, demonstrations, simple
exercises and easy to use handouts that will make this
presentation as useful as it is uplifting.
Our welcoming small group has been meeting on the First Monday
of each month for over 10 years and we're always glad to make
new friends. We're centrally located at 726 Vassar St in
Orlando's College Park neighborhood (around the corner from
Princeton and Edgewater). Our entrance is tucked around the
back just behind Escapades Salon, so pull in the driveway and
park in the rear (or use the big lot next door).
There is no charge for this program, though love offerings are
accepted and appreciated.
