Where Shall We MEET?
We've got to stop meeting like this .... ONLINE. Because in the next couple of months there are some great opportunities for us to get together in person. I spend a lot of my time training outside of the country, or right at home in Florida, or in online courses and webinars - but I just don't get the chance to get out and about with my friends, students and colleagues here in the states. And that's why I'm especially thrilled to be able to offer these workshops at the two best hypnosis conferences of the year. I'll be doing a few talks at both of these events along with an extra special workshop at each. Basic information about the workshops is included below along with link to all the detailed information about the complete conferences.
So what'll it be? Sun, Surf and Sand in Florida? Or the excitement of Las Vegas?
Can't decide? That's ok ... join us for both and take your hypnosis/NLP skills to the next level.

Neurolinguistic Hypnosis at the IACT/IMDHA HypnoExpo Every year the International Association of Counselors and Therapists and The International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association produce one of the world's greatest professional gatherings. During the course of this year's HypnoExpo, which runs from May 15th - 21st, I'll be doing several things. I'm speaking at a hosted luncheon (topic: The Hypnotic Heart) and offering an additional one hour talk on "The Alignment Process". And I'm especially pleased to present a two day post conference workshop on "Neurolinguistic Hypnosis". Come for the conference and stay for this additional training. Neurolinguistic HypnosisThis special workshop will teach you how to enhance your hypnosis practice with understandings and interventions from NLP and how you can make these powerful processes even more effective when you use trance to deepen their impact. You will learn unique approaches to induction and Neurolinguistic techniques for accessing and utilizing the creative unconscious for a wide variety of issues. Evoking resources to empower your clients, working with parts, resolving inner conflicts, are all typical processes in NLP. A more recent development in NLP, the "New Code" activates transformational processes by stimulating High Performance States. Add these methods to your toolbox and you'll always have a fresh and powerful approach to offer.

Neo-Ericksonian Hypnosis at HypnoThoughts Live! Hypnothoughts Live! is a new kid on the block and has generated so much excitement that it's bound to be one of the greatest events you've ever attended. It's a natural outgrowth of Hypnothoughts online resources community that has been home to thousands of members for the past several years. Everybody's going to be there, and like Aerosmith says .... I don't want to miss a thing. The entire conference runs through the weekend with pre- and post- conference events. I'll be offering two talks at the conference "(Walking Belief Change" and "Ten Quickies") and am especially honored to present a one day pre-conference program on Neo-Ericksonian Hypnosis so be sure to arrive a day early for this Thursday workshop) Neo-Ericksonian HypnosisI like to say that Erickson discovered hypnosis. Not in the sense that
he was the first one to go there, or that it hadn’t already been discovered. Rather in the sense that he wasn’t taught about it, but found it in his own experience with polio and paralysis. Stumbled across it in it’s raw real-world form without the benefit of academic teaching. It began as a personal thing. As a result, he formed his own Understandings of it independent of the mainstream of professional psychologists of his day. And learned to use it in powerful ways to influence his own healing. His unique perspectives inspired a generation of others and left behind a legacy of powerful approaches through those who worked with him and learned from him. Of course, no one can say how Erickson himself might have evolved into the 21st century. What he did to prepare for that evolution was to plant seeds in the minds and spirits of others. Each of those others continued in their own way and we are the beneficiaries of multiple and varied evolutions of Erickson–inspired hypnotists and therapists. Ernest Rossi, Stephen Gilligan, Bill O’Hanlon, Bandler and Grinder among them. What inspired this workshop is a two-decade search for the essence of Erickson … to get to the very core of it and tap in. To be led by it and discover where it takes me. I studied with all the major players in search of the common thread, conducted deep trance identification sessions in an effort to “channel” Erickson and modeled out the essential features that will allow you to develop your own Ericksonian approaches.
