Michael Watson honored by the International Association of Counselors and Therapists

The director of Phoenix Services, Michael Watson was honored with the 2019 Distinguished Service Award by the International Association of Counselors and Therapists (IACT).  The presentation took place at the association's awards ceremony in Daytona Beach during their annual conference in May.

Michael is now accepting applications for this truly comprehensive training.  This unique class will be limited to EIGHT students to offer a depth of instruction not generally available.   ... The entire curriculum takes place over 3 months with two modules in interactive classroom (Orlando) to give you hands-on supervised instruction.. four online evening sessions and one-on-one mentoring and supervised learning experiences.

Three Modules:

• Weekend One (Live in ORLANDO): Foundations of NLP - November 15 - 18th 2019
• Weekend Two (Live in ORLANDO): Applications of NLP - January 10 - 13th, 2020
• Online Training - Four 90 minute sessions online distributed over course - Language and Strategies of Change.  November 5th, 26th, December 17th, and January 28th,

The modules can be taken individually, although all will be required for certification as a Practitioner of NLP

BEFORE there was NLP, there were Satir, Perls, Erickson and others who displayed excellence in their practice as therapists and communicators.  Bandler and Grinder set out to model these powerful change workers and uncover the patterns in their work.

In modeling, you've got to have a place to start.  B&G uncovered a number of presuppositions or "givens" that were maintained by these and other greats. These Attitudes and Understandings are the basis for their effectiveness

In this evening, we'll explore those presuppositions and how they apply in everyday life.  These aren't just frames for therapists, they're attitudes for successful living.

Our regular first Monday program is facilitated by Michael Watson, Director of Phoenix Services in Orlando, FL He is the former lead trainer for Salad Ltd in the UK. and on the Faculty of the Hypnosis Practitioner Training Institute (HPTI). Michael is an IACT Educator of the Year, A Diplomate and Board Member of the International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association and a Trainer of NLP and Ericksonian Hypnotherapy.

This evening is a part of Phoenix Services regular First Monday program. It is open to the public and anyone is welcome who has an interest in hypnosis, NLP, personal growth or any of our various topics.

Our welcoming small group has been meeting on the First Monday of each month for over 26 years and we're always glad to make new friends.  We're centrally located at 726 Vassar St in Orlando's College Park neighborhood (around the corner from Princeton and Edgewater). Our entrance is tucked around the back just behind Escapades Salon, so pull in the driveway and park in  the rear (or use the big lot next door).
 
There is no charge for this program, though love offerings are accepted and appreciated.
