The director of Phoenix Services, Michael Watson was honored as a "Life Fellow in Hypnotherapy" by the International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association (IMDHA).  The presentation took place at the association's annual awards ceremony in Daytona Beach during their annual conference.

No longer a teleconference and back in our own community format, our First Monday program continues with an exploration of Core Outcomes.  Last month we talked about outcomes and goals ... this month we go a step deeper.  What are we really up to through the outcomes that we have?  What is the deeper purpose behind our goals?  AND  How can our challenges and unwanted experiences help us discover our core outcomes?  And finally, how can this information open the doorway to personal transformation?

Our regular first Monday program is facilitated by Michael Watson, Director of Phoenix Services in Orlando, FL He is a lead trainer for Salad Ltd in the UK. and on the Faculty of the Hypnosis Practitioner Training Institute (HPTI). Michael is a former IACT Educator of the Year and an international trainer of NLP and Ericksonian Hypnotherapy.

This evening is a part of Phoenix Services regular First Monday program. It is open to the public and anyone is welcome who has an interest in hypnosis, NLP, personal growth or any of our various topics.

Our welcoming small group has been meeting on the First Monday of each month for over 23 years and we're always glad to make new friends.  We're centrally located at 726 Vassar St in Orlando's College Park neighborhood (around the corner from Princeton and Edgewater). Our entrance is tucked around the back just behind Escapades Salon, so pull in the driveway and park in  the rear (or use the big lot next door).
 
There is no charge for this program, though love offerings are accepted and appreciated.

Virtual Chapter - IACT/IMDHA

This will be the third meeting of the Virtual Chapter.  The virtual chapter is getting organized so that we can meet with folks all over creation who want to join us for some lively and informative discussions, presentations and demonstrations of hypnosis, NLP and personal growth topics.

This month's program will be a teleconference, but we're hoping to have a video hook-up in the near future.  And will keep you posted about the development of that resource.

Neuroplasticity - a virtual visit with Melissa Tiers

The teleconference is hosted by Michael Watson and will begin with some brief chapter business, announcements and introductions, and then we'll be joined by Melissa for a nice chat.  If you've not yet met her, you're in for a real treat.   

Melissa will share some of the most exciting ideas and applications coming out of neuroscience. You will learn about different ways to strategically foster new neural connections to rewire the brain to change habituated patterns. You will hear how the latest discoveries support the work we've all been doing and how we can reconsolidate and even rewrite implicit memories.

Melissa Tiers is the founder of The Center for Integrative Hypnosis in New York City where she teaches classes in Integrative Hypnosis, NLP, and mental health coaching. She is an adjunct faculty member of The New York Open Center and The Tri-State College of Acupuncture where she teaches a course in Mind/Body Medicine. Melissa is a two time Pen and Quill recipient for her books "Integrative Hypnosis: A Comprehensive Course in Change" and "Keeping the Brain in Mind: Practical Neuroscience for Coaches, Therapists and Hypnosis Practitioners" co-written with Shawn Carson.
